All 15 towns in the Dahner Felsenland are connected by well-developed and marked cycle paths. » Robber Knights - cycle path, with connection to the cycle path network of the "Southern Wine Route". From above, Drachenfels and Berwartstein greet cyclists from afar along the Robber Knights Cycle Path from Bruchweiler-Bärenbach to Erlenbach (-Lauterschwan) and Vorderweidenthal. Do not miss a visit to the Drachenfels rock castle ruins with their daring climbs over narrow stairs and their magnificent view or the Berwartstein Castle. » Wieslautertal – cycle path, with connection to the French cycle path network in the area of Wissembourg/Northern Alsace and to the cycle path network of the “Southern Wine Route”. The Wieslautertal cycle path always leads along the Wieslauter river through the romantic Wieslautertal to France, more precisely: Wissembourg in northern Alsace. » Sauertal – cycle path, with a connection to the French cycle path network in the Lembach/North Alsace area. On the Sauertal cycle path, cyclists ride through wide meadow valleys from Bundenthal via Rumbach and Fischbach to Ludwigswinkel or Schönau and Hirschthal. The castle massif "Altdahn - Grafendahn - Tanstein" is the largest castle complex in the Palatinate and one of the most striking rock castles in Germany. Visitor mine "Eisenerzgrube", Nothweiler 1976 - 1977 this technical cultural monument of the mining and metallurgical area of the southern Palatinate was expanded as a visitor mine. Biosphere House Palatinate Forest/Northern Vosges and Treetop Path The Biosphere House Palatinate Forest/North Vosges in Fischbach offers its visitors fascinating insights into the interrelationships of nature in the Biosphere Reserve Nature Park Palatinate Forest/Northern Vosges.
A special experience is the treetop path, which is unique in Germany. At a length of approx. 270 meters, it offers information and experience stations of a special kind (e.g. suspension bridge, rope bridge, plate bridge, and much more) at a dizzy height (15-38 meters).

Maginot Line The “Schoenenbourg” works, “Four à Chaux” fortifications near Lembach/F, large shelter museum in Hatten. There is also the possibility of excursions to nearby Alsace and the Northern Vosges.
Getting there
Coming from the north, take the A61 to the Frankenthal motorway junction and continue on the A65 in the direction of Neustadt a. i.e. Wine route to Landau. There you leave the autobahn at Landau Nord and take the B10 in the direction of Pirmasens. After approx. 30 km leave the B10 at Hinterweidenthal and take the B472 in the direction of Dahn.
In the center of Dahn, turn left towards Erfweiler.
Within Erfweiler, drive past the church on Winterbergstraße to the end of the street. The Winterberg house is located opposite the hotel 'The Little Flower'.
You can park in the courtyard entrance.

Wir haben uns bereits bei der Begrüßung durch das Ehepaar Meigel sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist außergewöhnlich schön. Es wird an jedes Detail gedacht. Der Garten ist ein Traum. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Die Ferienwohnung Winterberg war für uns Urlaub von Anfang an. Gerne kommen wir wieder um die herrliche Landschaft zu erkunden.
