A well-deserved rest here at Isar River Park, on the southern border of Gruenwald, a well-known not only by film and television suburb of Munich - Gruenwald is a also a state-approved health resort and is considered one of the most exclusive residential areas of Germany and as a noble suburb of Munich (Wikipedia).
Shopping is done in only 5 to 8 minutes from the centre on foot where you will find best international restaurants, too. In Munich's city centre, take the car or the tram only 20 to 30 minutes. Any recreational activity, whether cultural or sports, is possible without long travel time. So you are in half an hour in one of Munich's famous museums. Or within 45 minutes in the alps of skiing, or, or ...
Visit the website of the community Gruenwald and you'll even find something exciting for your children. This refers to is not McDonalds, but the opposite theme park. The nearest playground (in winter with toboggan run) is just 200 meters away - you do not even have to cross a street.
And you will look forward to a long walk in unspoiled nature (it is a protected landscape) or a bike ride on the well-developed roads on the Isar.
Your wheels can be put under way, and for your car, there is an outdoor parking lot on the property.

Eine sehr gut eingerichtete Wohnung, ein freundlicher Empfang durch den Vermieter, eine ruhige, angenehme Umgebung, ideal für Ausflüge nach München-City - da kommen wir gerne wieder.

We were delighted with the well appointed and comfortable apartment. We were able to take care of unfinished business at home thanks to the included WiFi and telephone. Our host was extremely helpful with directions and information. An ideal spot to use as base for travel throughout southern Bavaria. The town of Gruenwald is lovely and contains several nice restaurants along with a grocery store and specialty shops that are all within walking distance of the apartment. We have rented apartments before in our travels and this was by far the nicest.
