Very peaceful location that's nevertheless very central. It's just a few minutes' walk to the centre with its restaurants and places to shop. Start your hikes, cycling tours, trips out and sporting activities right from the Sonnenheim Holiday Hotel. You can be out in natural surroundings, at the ice rink or at the Nebelhorn cable car in just a few minutes.
Getting there
Directions from the railway station to the Sonnenheim Holiday Hotel in Oberstdorf: Train station - turn onto Bahnhofstr. then turn right into Weberstraße - then left into Trettachstraße - head down to the intersection of Holzerstraße and Am Schelmenhag, go to the right hand side and you've reached your destination... Directions to the Hotel Sonnenheim from the approach to the town: VILLAGE ENTRANCE - roundabout, 3rd turn-off - Alpgaustr. (keep right) - take a left into Im Steinach at the T-junction - then go over the railway crossing - after the railway crossing, turn right into Am Bannholz - turn right into Trettachstraße after the graveyard - follow the bend to the left then keep going straight - until you reach the intersection of Holzerstraße and Am Schelmenhag - go to the left hand side and you've reached your destination...

Das nette gepflegte Haus mit sympathischen Gastgebern liegt etwas außerhalb vom Oberstdorfer Zentrum, also sehr ruhig. Wir bewohnten eine kleine Dachwohnung mit Balkon und Blick auf`s Nebelhorn. Die Einrichtung modern mit Holzböden ( kein staubiger Teppich ), gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile, vollständiges Geschirr und sehr sauber. Bequeme Betten sorgten für einen erholsamen Schlaf, es fehlte an Nichts . Ein Bäcker für Semmeln in der Nähe und auch die Haltestelle für den Ortsbus, falls die Füße vom Wandern zu müde sind. Unsere Fahrräder hatten Platz in einem gesicherten Schuppen. Alles in allem also...wenn wir nochmal nach Oberstdorf kommen, hoffen wir, dass wir diese Unterkunft noch einmal bekommen. Mehr schreibe ich jetzt nicht, sonst sind immer alle Wohnungen belegt.

Sehr schöner Urlaub...Personal sehr nett , freundlich und hilfsbereit . Der Blick zum Nebelhorn von unserem Balkon war wunderschön . Immer wieder gerne !!! Viele liebe Grüße aus dem Norden Sven und Diana Zadov
