In a charming forested landscape, the lake of Tannenhausen is situated near Aurich on the way to the North Sea. It is one of the most beautiful swimming lakes in Germany and a real insider tip. The white sandy beach and the clear water invite for swimming and water sports.
The surrounding area offers many destinations for hikers and cyclists. By car you are in a short time on the coast and can take day trips to the East Frisian Islands.
Tannenhausen is on the way to the North Sea 9 km north of Aurich on the road to Dornum.
