Langtaufers is a beautifully remote valley in pure nature not far from the Reschenpass and Reschen lake. It is 9 km long - we live very close to the magnificent valley end that spreads into the glaciers of the Weißkugel Peak.
Many hiking or bike tours start from here, and 3 skiing areas care for great winter days.
Switzerland is 30 Minutes from here, the Austrian border is at 15 Minutes.
Meran 90 Minutes, Bolzano 2 hours, Innsbruck, 90 Minutes.

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir bei Richard Fliri, und jedes Mal wäre ich gerne länger geblieben. Hier ist es einzigartig, die Raumatmosphäre des Strohhauses, der weite Blick in die Ferne, wenige Minuten zu Fuss köstliche Knödel im «Gletscherblick», Langlaufloipen, Winterwanderwege (auch zur Melager Alm mit weiteren Südtiroler Köstlichkeiten) und Skitourenoptionen, der Skibus zum Skigebiet Schöneben, ein Gastgeber, der viel über das Leben hier und die Landschaft erzählen kann. Hier sind wir auch dieses Jahr wieder glücklich geworden!

Wir haben die Zeit am Hof von Richard Fliri sehr genossen. Insbesondere Idee und Umsetzung des Strohhauses haben uns nachhaltig beeindruckt: natürliches Wohnen ohne Einschränkungen bei Komfort und Design. Auch die Lage des Hofes am oberen Langtauferer Tal war uns perfekter Ausgangspunkt für ausgedehnte Wanderungen bis ins Hochgebirge. Sehr guter ÖPNV! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
