Santa Croce, a former hermitage monastery, is perched on the edge of a plateau between Orvieto and Lake Bolsena with idyllic beaches and quaint restaurants. The view from the terrace with infinity pool and Jacuzzi stretches over the valley and the gentle rolling hills with spectacular sunsets. The house is surrounded by shade-giving old trees, spacious lawns, and enchanted terraces.
Today, the organic wine that we cultivate around Santa Croce is stored in the former monastery church.
The property has been lovingly restored and furnished with finds from all over the world. We live 2 km away. So, the holiday home, garden, and pool are at your full private disposal.

The magnificent and unspoiled Lake Bolsena with small fishing villages and idyllic bathing beaches (150 meters deep and therefore very clean) is just 20 minutes away. Boat trips to the Bisentina Island are offered at the Bolsena harbor. Hot sulfur springs, for example, in Viterbo, Saturnia, and San Casciano.
Santa Croce is nestled among vineyards and olive groves hidden in the Etruscan hills between Orvieto and Lake Bolsena, at the border triangle of Umbria-Lazio-Tuscany.
The picturesque village of Sugano with shopping facilities, bars, and a post office is less than 10 minutes away. Orvieto with its attractions, gourmet restaurants, and markets can be reached in just 15 minutes.
