The Schwielochsee is the largest lake in the federal state of Brandenburg. It offers visitors a large portfolio of leisure activities, such as swimming, sailing and windsurfing in summer, as well as the opportunity to cycle around Lake Schwielochsee. A trip to the Straupitzer Mühle and to buy freshly pressed linseed oil from there is particularly recommendable.
Arrival by car is recommended. A bus goes from Lübben (among other things central station Lübben) up to Jessern, line 508.
