The ski resorts are within easy reach: The Zillertal-Arena-Gerlossteinbahn, the family-friendly ski area with the longest toboggan run (7 km) in the Zillertal, is just 1 km away. The cross-country ski trail starts right in Zell am Ziller. It's only 3 km to the largest ski area in the Zillertal, the Arena, and just 8 km to the Mayrhofen mountain railways and the Hochzillertal ski area. The Hintertux Glacier (year-round skiing) is only 20 km away.
