Holiday destination
It's 3 minutes' drive or 20 minutes' walk to the fishing village of Salema with its large, guarded beach (with dinosaur footprints in the rocks) and its many cafés and restaurants.
It's a similar distance to the little village of Figueira inland. You'll find 2 little restaurants and cafés there, too.
Lots of nearby southern beaches—some with and some without places to eat—can be reached in no time at all by car. Some are only accessible by foot.
You can get to the nearest beaches on the west coast in around 15 minutes by car. It's an ideal location for surfers, who can choose to head to the southern or the western beaches depending on the weather.
Vila do Bispo, the local capital, is 8 km away. It features a daily, local market in the mornings where you can buy local vegetables (including organic produce) and fish.
Getting there
Faro airport is 90 km away. We recommend you hire a rental car. We'll send you the exact directions to the property at a later stage.

Ich kann diese Ferienwohnung jedem wärmstens ans Herz legen, der zum Sightseeing, Wandern etc auch ein wenig abschalten möchte. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Terrasse mit Ausblick aufs Meer ist der Traum. Gerne wären wir länger geblieben und würden auch jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und viele tolle Ausflugsziele sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung.
