I live on the peninsula Eiderstedt in a thatched roof house on a warft which has been for the first time mentioned in the books in 1796. Our estate is directly next to one of the most beautiful streets of Eiderstedt with roundabout 50 thatched roof houses and country houses, and as well different kind of fields and meadows with sheep, cows and horses. A wonderful place to unwind and relax from city life. In my neighborhood live lovely and very nice farmers who wave to you from their tractors when driving by - there is not hog feeding or chicken factories. Therefore no odor trouble or health risk. All neighbors deliver their milk straight to the Osthusumer creamery in Witzwort, where there is as well a nice little farm shop with regional products.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus, modern und hochwertig ausgestattet, geschmackvolles Ambiente und tolle Lage. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.

Es ist selten, aber manchmal findet man diese wunderbaren Orte, die mit ihrer Schönheit und besonderen Energie sofort verwandeln. Uns erging es so. Kaum hatten wir das hübsche Reetdachhaus inmitten seines wunderschönen Gartens entdeckt, konnten wir unseren ganzen Alltags- und Großstadtstress abstreifen. Wer nach Ruhe, Natur, Entspannung und vielleicht auch ein bißchen nach sich selbst sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Haus, Ferienwohnung und Garten sind eine stilvolle, sehr gemütliche und gelungene Einheit. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt . Es ist an alles gedacht worden. Alles ist liebevoll, hell und freundlich und man spürt, mit wieviel Begeisterung und Freude Stefanie und Peter Ortmann ihr Zuhause auch für ihre Gäste zu einem gemütlichen Ort machen möchten. Auch für Hunde ein echtes Paradies!
