Cancellation policy
With your booking, you accept the following guest accommodation conditions of the German Tourism Association e.V., which regulate the contractual relationship between you and the accommodation company you have booked. Please read these conditions very carefully: 1) The guest accommodation contract is concluded as soon as the accommodation has been ordered and confirmed or, if a confirmation was no longer possible due to time constraints, made available. 2) The conclusion of the guest accommodation contract obliges the contracting parties to fulfil the contract, regardless of the duration of the contract. 3) The accommodation company is obliged to pay compensation to the guest if the accommodation is not provided. 4) If the guest is unable to use the agreed accommodation, they are obliged to pay the agreed or customary price less the outlay that the landlord saves due to the absence of the guest. These may be set by the accommodation company at a flat rate as follows: For purely overnight stays (apartment) and for overnight stays/breakfast 10%, for half board 20%, for full board 40% of the agreed total price. 5) The accommodation company is obliged in good faith to allocate rooms that have not been used elsewhere if possible in order to avoid any losses. Until the room gets booked again, the guest is obligated, for the duration of the contract, to pay the amount calculated in clause 4. Early departure due to poor weather, sickness or unpredictable events do not release the renter from paying damages. Compensation shall also be payable in the event of the non-use of any accommodation contractually provided by the accommodation company. 6) Travel cancellation insurance: we recommend that our guests take out a travel cancellation insurance policy which can be used in cases in which the booked accommodation is not occupied due to illness etc. and a guest is charged an empty bed fee due to non-fulfilment of the rental contract. The landlord can obtain the relevant forms for you from the spa administration. 7) The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the place of business.

Our house is situated in a quiet and sunny top location directly at the chairlift station of the "World Cup Express". Only 2 minutes on foot and you are right in the middle of one of the top skiing and hiking areas in Germany. In short: there is no other place in Ofterschwang where you can reach the mountain faster. Snow-covered ski area with top modern lift facilities right on your doorstep!!
Getting there
Between Sonthofen and Oberstdorf at the foot of the Hörner chain. Drive into Ofterschwang coming from Sonthofen on the Dorfstrasse. Follow the signs to "Weltcupexpress" and turn right into Panoramaweg. After 50 m, turn right again into Hörnerweg. Follow the Hörnerweg to the end. The apart ambiente is the last house on the left side.

Wir, zwei Familien mit insgesamt vier Teenagern, sind bereits zum dritten Mal im Ferienhaus der Familie Kneringer, also quasi "Wiederholungstäter" und können uns den sehr guten Bewertungen nur anschliessen: sauber, gepflegt, freundlich, super Ausstattung, Lage und Umgebung, ... jederzeit wieder!

Die Ferienwohnung von Familie Kneringer lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles ist mit sehr viel Liebe und Herzblut eingerichtet und man hat alles, was man für einen wunderschönen Urlaub braucht. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, sehr großes Wohnzimmer, 2 gemütliche Schlafzimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten und ein tolles und modernes Badezimmer. Familie Kneringer war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatte auch für Schlechtwettertage die perfekten Tipps. Wir waren mit unseren Kindern ( 3;5) für 1 Woche hier und würden am liebste gleich wieder die Koffer packen. Sehr zu empfehlen...
