The holiday home "La Fornace" is nestled in the pristine nature of the Tuscan Maremma, offering all the possibilities for an eventful vacation.
Below in the valley lies the road, which leads to the sea in no time, and although it is not visible from the holiday home due to the lush vegetation surrounding the estate, one can sometimes hear the distant traffic depending on the wind direction, but it is by no means disturbing.
The coast of the Tuscan Maremma is a 130 km spectacle of nature, with endless fine sandy beaches as well as steep cliffs where the waves of the Tyrrhenian Sea break. Extensive pine forests just behind the sandy beaches provide a cool retreat to spend hot afternoons, offering shade and pure relaxation.
The provincial capital Grosseto, with about 80,000 inhabitants and reachable in just a few minutes by car, is a beautiful city with countless monuments, churches, buildings, piazzas, cathedral, and much more. Beautiful shops, restaurants, cafés, and everything that makes a summer holiday in Tuscany lovable can be found here.
A few kilometers or minutes by car away is Marina di Grosseto, the seaside district with its fine sandy beaches, which will surely leave a lasting impression on holiday guests, offering Mediterranean flair and pure beach life.
An excursion to the nearby Parco Regionale della Maremma, the "Uccellina Nature Park," is highly recommended, where you can get an idea of what the Tuscan Maremma may have once looked like, with untouched, winding macchia forests, grazing (wild) horses, and cattle herds. The park extends over 10,000 hectares, and can be accessed from Albarese as well as Talamone; there are wild boars, wild cats, porcupines, turtles, wild ducks, and falcons to admire.
Also visit Pisa, Livorno, Siena, Montalcino, take a boat trip to the Isola di Giglio (from Porto Ercole), there are truly unlimited possibilities.
If you are traveling with children:
visit the Acqua Village in Follonica, a water park that guarantees a lot of fun, open from June to September.
For shopping:
there are a few small shops in Campagnatico, approximately 4 km away, a tiny village that can be seen directly opposite on a hill from the holiday home, where you can find the famous, excellent restaurant "La Locanda del Glicine," offering Tuscan, specifically Maremma specialties in a dreamy setting, a popular destination for Italian "Vip's."
Also about 4 km away is Paganico, with shops and a supermarket. About 1 km away, there is a café-bar and pizzeria. On Saturday mornings, there is a "mercato" weekly market in Paganico, and on Thursday mornings in Grosseto.
Sports opportunities nearby:
for walking and hiking, you can explore the 600,000 sqm property starting right from the house, which also includes a small private lake with fish (carp, eels, etc.) that can be fished by the holiday guests,
there are tennis courts nearby, as well as a golf course (about 20 km away),
for mountain bikers, Tuscany with its gentle hills is an inexhaustible area everywhere, and the proximity to the sea allows for all kinds of water sports.

Wir hatten einen ganz, ganz tollen Urlaub in dem riesigen Ferienhaus. Es war super ausgestattet; uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.
Der Pool ist riesig; er wurde jeden Morgen (ohne dass wir es mitbekommen haben, gereinigt).
Der Vermieter ist sehr nett.
Wir kommen irgendwann auf jeden Fall wieder.
