Built in the 70s, the house was lying dorman when we discovered it in a small side street in the middle of Garding.
We realized pretty quickly that this would be our nest.
But we wanted a big one.
We wanted it to be cosy - but with lots of light and fresh air.
Informal - but extraordinary.
Modern - but we wanted to recreate the decade of our birth.
Which sounds like either or, it is not - because we just made it happen.
We renovated as much as necessary with all our heart and soul and received as much as possible.
We mixed modern functional living ideas with real vintage treasures and accessories from the 70s. On 230 sqm and two floors, the Horst am See can accommodate up to 11 guests.
In one of the 6 bedrooms you can withdraw at any time, while the open dining hall and the large living room with fireplace has room for everyone!
The new bathrooms with walk-in showers provide relaxation or real disco fever at the touch of a button.
The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for a big cooking session, and throughout the house there are entertainment facilities such as the fastest internet, games corners and TV with Netflix and IP-TV.
The house itself is not only large, but also the garden, which borders on a small lake. On three terraces you can relax and let the North Sea air blow around your face, while the grill is still heating up and the drinks are being cooled.
Horst am See is an unique and spacious retreat for all those who want to spend their holidays together with family and friends in a special atmosphere. Casual. Comfortable. Extraordinary.
The house is freshly renovated and refurbished. A renovation of the outdoor facilities has also just been completed.
The garden is currently still in a rather "natural" state.
New construction is scheduled for 2020.

In the middle of the Eiderstedt peninsula outside the gates of St. Peter Ording lies the small but fine nest Garding.
The central location is an ideal starting point for numerous excursions in the surroundings.
Genuinely North Frisian, far away from the tourist hustle and bustle, where village life is still alive. Restaurants, cafés, playgrounds, supermarkets and and more. Everything you need is here. If you want, you can reach the kilometre-long sandy beach of St.Peter Ording by car in about 10 minutes or explore the area by bike.
