* The Noord Aa recreation area (Zoetermeer Lake) is not far from farmstead ‘Hoeve Nooitgedacht’. Here you will find a beach, grassy sunbathing areas and surfing activities.
* A visit to the Archeon or Avifauna is also worthwhile (approx. 17 km.)
* A day out to the North Sea beach/Scheveningen (approx. 20 km.)
* There are various cheese farms with a small shop in the vicinity
* There are various possibilities for going fishing.
* The cities of Leiden, Gouda, The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam are well worth a visit.

Vanaf A12:
Neem afslag Benthuizen. Ga dan richting Benthuizen. Bij de Shell-pomp linksaf. Doorrijden tot aan t-splitsing, dan rechtsaf. Net voor Benthuizen slaat u linksaf. U rijdt dan op de Slootweg. Over de witte brug gaat u naar rechts en dan bent u op de Gelderswoudseweg. Hoeve Nooitgedacht is de derde boerderij aan de linkerkant op nr. 17.
Vanaf A4:
Neem de afslag Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk. U gaat richting Alphen a/d Rijn. Bij de verkeerslichten gaat u rechtsaf richting Zoeterwoude Weipoort. U slaat na ong. 2 km. Linksaf richting Gelderswoude . U vervolgt deze weg en gaat met de bocht mee naar rechts. Vervolgens alsmaar rechtdoor rijden en dan komt u vanzelf op de Gelderswoudseweg. Hoeve Nooitgedacht ligt aan de rechterkant op nr. 17.
