Our cozy holiday home De Specht accommodates 2-7 people and features a living room with flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, 3 bedrooms (1 on the ground floor with its own shower/WC), a second shower/WC on the first floor, an extra toilet in the hall, and a private garden/terrace with garden furniture and a view of the forest.
Located in a quiet spot on the edge of the forest, yet only 500 meters from the historic center of the picturesque artists' village of Bergen NH, behind the dunes leading to the beach at Bergen aan Zee. This is also where North Holland's most beautiful cycling route runs.
De Specht is an ideal accommodation for families, beach holidays, or active vacations: from here, you can diversify your holiday with hiking, cycling, water sports, and art/culture.

Just a 5-minute walk to the center of the artist village Bergen NH, right next to the forest and dune reserve on the most beautiful cycling route in North Holland, 4.5 km to the wide and white sandy beach. Close to the local zoo, as well as Museum Kranenburgh with exhibitions of local artists, 8 km from Alkmaar, 40 km from Amsterdam, 20 km to the marine harbor Den Helder/ferry to Texel. Day trips to the IJsselmeer towns Enkhuizen and Medemblik, Volendam,

From Amsterdam Schiphol, take the A9 to Alkmaar,
N9 towards Den Helder until the Bergen NH exit,
at the start of the town at the roundabout, take Nesdijk (towards Hotel ZeeBergen)
at the end turn right, continue to the intersection, cross the intersection to the corner of Wilhelminalaan/Maesdammerlaan.
