In Januar gibt es in Egmond ein 1/2 marathon und ein schone fahrat rit auf strand.
Amsterdam, Haarlem und Alkmaar sind gut zu ereichen mit dem auto oder zug.
Von April bis oktober ist jeden freitag in Alkmaar die bekante Kasemarkt.
