Holiday destination
The holiday home is located on the mezzanine floor of a 400 year old mill on a 1 ha park-like property in the Fulda Valley, surrounded by a beautiful, wooded low mountain range landscape with many hiking trails. Beavers, kingfishers and herons are our neighbours. The apartment is located directly at the Fulda-bikeway R1. Beautiful half-timbered towns in the surroundings as well as the former Cistercian monastery of Haydau in the village invite you to visit them.
Getting there
From the north: motorway A7, exit Malsfeld, towards Spangenberg, then B 83 direction Rotenburg/F., through Morschen, turn right at the station and left at right angle after the traffic island.
From the south: A7, exit Homberg/Efze, then towards Spangenberg. After crossing the Fulda, turn right towards the B 83 (Kassel, Rotenburg/F), turn right before the ramp onto the B 84.

Host informationI renovated the rooms of the holiday flat in the mill, which my late husband and I created as a kind of life's work, and furnished them according to the latest standards. We were always an open and hospitable house for our friends, colleagues and the friends of our children and I am delighted when my guests can enjoy this beautiful apartment in an extraordinary and completely undisturbed location beyond all the hustle and bustle and yet with all the advantages of a pleasurable holiday on the river, in the neighbourhood of beavers, kingfishers and herons.

Super eingerichtete, moderne Wohnung, die sich perfekt in das umliegende Gelände einfügt.
Mit der Fulda, die direkt vorm Haus plätschert, dem großen Garten und den umliegenden Mühlengebäuden ergibt sich eine absolut ruhige und idyllische, dennoch nicht abgelegende Lage:
Sowohl der Bahnhof (unter 5 min) als auch ein Supermarkt sind in Laufweite, auch die Anreise mit dem Auto ist unkompliziert.
Hier kommt jeder auf seine Kosten, ob Entspannung, Wandern, ...
Besonders empfehlen kann ich die Kombination Sauna - Fulda, die sich bei uns, zu jedem Wetter, schnell zum Highlight entwickelt hat!

Wir hätten es kaum besser haben können. Eine super ausgestattete, geräumige Wohnung in absoluter Traumlage direkt am Fluss und trotzdem mit einer fussläufigen Bahnstation. Wir waren wahlweise schwimmen oder in der Sauna und haben uns an Flora und Fauna erfreut. Wer Abstand vom hektischen Alltag sucht und von einem ungestörten Blick ins Grüne träumt, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.
