Egmond aan Zee is a small village nestled in the dunes. Located directly by the sea, it is a paradise for sun worshippers, walkers, and cyclists. Once you've visited Egmond, you'll want to return again and again. The former fishing village is hospitable and cozy. Take a leisurely stroll past the small shops and cafes to the lighthouse and the boulevard, watching the sun set into the sea.
The large beach can be reached in about 3 minutes on foot.

Your stay is conveniently located in Egmond aan Zee. Shops, beach, forest, and dunes are just a short walk away. There are various places in the vicinity such as Alkmaar, Hoorn, Haarlem, and Amsterdam, which are easily accessible by car and public transport. You can go in both directions. Everywhere there are cozy shopping streets and places to eat or drink.
Getting there
From Germany, take the A12 towards Arnhem, Utrecht. At Utrecht, switch to the A2 towards Amsterdam.
After about 25 km, head towards Amstelveen and then after 20 km continue on the A9 towards Alkmaar.
Then take the Alkmaar/Heiloo exit, at the roundabout take the 3/4 exit towards Heiloo and then towards Egmond.
Continue driving towards Egmond aan Zee.
