Holiday destination
Our apartment is located in the "Ostrea" apartment complex in Nes. Nestled amidst the dunes and just a few meters from the wide sandy beach. From here, you can explore the island in all directions and with this choice, you have the perfect starting point for your holiday planning.
Getting there
You can easily reach the ferry terminal in Holwerd by car from all directions. If you wish to take your car to the island, we recommend making a car reservation in advance at www.wpd.nl.
If you prefer to travel by train, your destination station will usually be Leeuwarden - from there, you can quickly and comfortably take a taxi to Holwerd for about 40 euros, or even more affordably by bus. The taxi ride takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic, while the bus will take around 50 minutes.
