Willingen/Usseln is located in the GrimmHeimat NordHessen (https://www.grimmheimat.de) and in the Geo-Park HochSauerland (http://www.geopark-grenzwelten.de)..There are also several lakes with seasonal water sports in the surrounding area e.g. at the Diemelsee (with a lido, golf park, and an old mine to keep you entertained).
Holiday destination
The Willingen region is perfect for a family getaway or a chilled time out with friends. There are hikes out to the woods and across heathland starting right outside, as well as dedicated BMX tracks and skiing areas.
Close by are also various facilities - an ice skating rink, pool, biathlon, summer toboggan run, outdoor climbing garden, sled dog races, brewery, shopping, food, pubs, bars and beer gardens. glassblowing, curioseum, mountain bike park, Nirvana curves for motorcyclists...
Getting there
Usseln holiday park is easiest to reach by car or motorbike. You can also take a train to Korbach or Brilon Stadt and take a taxi or rent a car there, or fly to Paderborn-Lippstadt and rent a car there. We can provide you with a local taxi number on request.
SatNav: Make sure to enter 'Willingen (Upland)'
If driving, from Korbach, turn left after the petrol station on the way out of the village (the main road is called Hochsauerlandstrasse, and you turn left onto Am Schneppelnberg). From Willingen, after the turn off for Stryk, turn right onto Am Schneppelnberg. Follow the green signs to the 'Ferienpark'. After the Hotel Berghof, turn right into street 'Unter der Egge', the Ferienpark Usseln is on the left at the end of the sealed road.

Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. Alles was man braucht, und ein kleines bisschen mehr, ist vorhanden. Hier fehlt es wirklich an nichts.
Traumhaft schöne Umgebung zum Wandern und biken. Aus dem Park raus und sofort mitten in der Natur.

Super schön eingerichtetes Haus.
Es war wirklich alles im Haushalt vorhanden was man braucht.
Das Inventar ist in einem super Zustand.
Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet.
Außerdem muss man hervorheben, dass die Unterkunft bei Anreise pikobello sauber war. So eine saubere Unterkunft hatten wir in anderen Urlauben noch nie.
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und entgegenkommend!
Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!
