Cancellation policy
Booking Confirmation:
- A Confirmation Deposit equal to 30% of the total amount of the stay is always required to confirm the reservation.
- We will send you the bank details followed by your written confirmation.
- The reservation is guaranteed only after receiving the 30% deposit.
- The remaining balance (70% of the total amount of the stay) is to be settled 1 week prior to the arrival date.
- The amount of the deposit can be paid by bank transfer only.
- With the deposit (Bank Transfer) you accept our Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation Policy:
- If the cancellation occurs at least 13 days before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded but you are entitled to use this amount for another future stay.
In such cases, contact ‘Lucy & Val’ to check future availability.
- In case of cancellation 12 days before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded unless another guest makes a reservation for the same dates, no cancellation is made, and full payment is received.
- In case of no-show, 30% (deposit) of the price of the stay will be retained.
- In the event of early departure or late arrival, the full amount of the services booked must be paid.
- Changes or cancellations to the reservation must be communicated by E-mail.

We are located in a small and historical hamlet called Pontone, which has:
- 2 restaurants with great views (both serving regular food and pizza); Trattoria Antico Borgo and Ristorante San Giovanni.
- 1 bar with a small grocery section, We are on a hill just above the town of Amalfi. There are two paths (with steps) down to Amalfi and there are buses that run quite regularly to and from Amalfi.

I always welcome my guest(s) on the road, either outside the garage or at the bus stop in Pontone.

Our stay in Pontone was wonderful.
The area is beautiful and centrally located on the coast.
You can take the bus or walk down to Atrani or Amalfi.
About a 45-minute walk, but it's worth it; we did it every day. However, we took the bus back up ;)
Andrea is a very kind and generous man. He made sure we were always okay.
He picked us up at the bus stop and offered to pick us up when it rained. He provided us with several little surprises throughout our week.
I don't have enough space to list everything he did for us.
He's an exceptional host!

Andrea’s wonderful apartment was the perfect respite from busy working lives in the UK. It’s a beautiful and well designed space, in the charming hillside village of Pontone. Andrea’s hospitality was second to none - always on hand with generosity and local tips. He was without a doubt the most accommodating and professional host we’ve experienced - a true gem!
We couldn’t imagine a trip to the Amalfi Coast another way - this is your best place to stay if you want a clean, peaceful, authentic and beautiful environment with easy access to the hustle and bustle of Amalfi enabling a bit of breathing space from the tourists.
