The area offers many hiking trails with beautiful views, many bike paths, the opportunity to climb, jog or go caving. The combination of sea and mountains offers breathtaking walks. The unique view from the "Velebit" mountains to the sea and the many islands cannot be enjoyed more centrally than from Senj.
Holiday destination
Senj is a small, beatifull and the oldest town on the upper Adriatic coast. It is connected to the hinterland by road via the Vratnik pass (700m above sea level), to the west with the Vinodol valley, Rijeka and its hinterland and to the south with Zadar, Split and southern Dalmatia.
All islands like Krk, Rab, Cres and Pag can be reached in day trips as well as national parks like the Plitvice Lakes, Velebit or Gorski Kotar.
The unique bear sanctuary in Kuterevo is also worth visiting.
Getting there
By car, motorcycle, bus or by flight via Rijeka or Zagreb. A pick-up and take to the airport are available for an additional charge.

Wir waren drei Personen, die Wohnung ist sehr schön hat als was man braucht. Vermieterin sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Nähe zur Hauptstraße und Tankstelle hat uns nicht gestört. Das Parken an der Wohnung ist leider ein Problem! Die Terrasse is schön groß,leider gab es nur einen sehr kleinen Tisch mit Stühle. Frühstück zu dritt war schon eine herausfordern. Gegrillt haben wir nicht obwohl wir gerne wollten, der Tisch war einfach zu klein. Trotzdem haben wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Senj verbracht.
