Holiday destination

Park De Schelp is located in close proximity to the most beautiful sandy beaches in the Netherlands. It is also the sunniest area. Just a mere 1700m separates vacationers from the sandy beach and the North Sea! The beach can be reached by several paths on foot or by bicycle. In the immediate vicinity, there is a supermarket, mini-golf course, subtropical swimming pool, tennis court, children's play paradise, as well as two restaurants.

Getting there

From Amsterdam / Alkmaar: Follow the A9 towards (Haarlem) Alkmaar - Den Helder. At Alkmaar, take the Ring West exit - N9 - towards Den Helder. Leave the roundabout (at Rotonde Alkmaar) at the third exit and continue towards Den Helder (via N9). Stay on the route towards Den Helder, following along the North Holland Canal. Turn left at Sint Maartensvlotbrug onto Zeeweg. Take the first road on the left. You are now on Belkmerweg. The Eureka Park is the second park on the left side.
