The head of North Holland is known for its 30-kilometer-long natural coastline, which includes the seaside resort of Julianadorp.
Majestic dunes, lots of water, dykes, polders, nature reserves, pastures, and picturesque villages enhance the Dutch splendor of this area. You are near the city of Den Helder, where you can also visit the submarine and naval museum. A day trip to Texel is certainly just as great an experience.
Exploring the beautiful surroundings of Resort Duynzicht
At the northernmost tip of Noord-Holland – just about a 10-minute walk from the beach – you will find the luxurious villas of Resort Duynzicht. Here, you can start your day with a peaceful breakfast in your own garden before setting out to explore the beautiful surroundings. Take wonderful walks or bike rides along colorful flower fields and through the expansive North Dunes in the de Helderse Duinen nature reserve! Amidst the dune and forest landscape, you will find complete tranquility. Additionally, you can discover very special plant and bird species here. Moreover, the city of Den Helder, surrounded by the sea and with numerous street cafés, shops, and museums, is a real excursion tip.
