The rear building impresses with its maisonette character and the large living room to which all other rooms are connected.
The highlight is the gallery on the wooden beam ceiling, which opens the living room to the bedroom and the two skylights. Sunlight floods the room, which is furnished with oak parquet and urban furniture, almost all day long. On cold evenings a wood-burning stove and a floor heating system warm the entire room.
Selection of 20 books from world literature and 20 award-winning films on Bluray. HD smart TV. Private barbecue on the terrace.

In Campen, climbing the highest lighthouse in Germany is a highlight, as is a visit to the East Frisian Agricultural Museum; in nearby Emden there is a wellness bath with sauna landscape, as well as the art gallery with the Henri Nannen Foundation. The islands can be reached by ferry or plane from nearby towns.
In contrast to the hotspot Greetsiel, camping offers a high degree of tranquillity. There are endless cycle paths along the nearby dyke, while in the other direction you can stroll along the country lanes and see as far as the eye can see. But those who want to see something special will also get their money's worth.
Campen is home to the highest lighthouse in Germany, the East Frisian Agricultural Museum with café and a church dating back to the late 13th century.

Many memories hang on the village of Campen and especially on this house. My grandparents lived here for over 30 years. After my grandfather hadn't been with us for more than 10 years and my grandmother moved into a home last year, I took over the house together with my partner Maximilian and turned it into a holiday home, which hopefully will give many people a wonderful holiday. But also we are happy to escape the big city life in Berlin every now and then and to find an old new home in camps. It was especially important to us to design the house in a way that we feel comfortable with ourselves. Oak parquet flooring, wooden windows and a lot of light should create a healthy room climate. In addition, we contrasted the rustic look of the sanded-down wooden beam ceiling with stylish furniture. We hope that this mixture pleases not only us. Martin
