The area features an extensive network of bike paths for lengthy cycling tours. Excursion destinations Ecomusée de la Grande Lande, Dune du Pilat, Arcachon (beautiful zoo, Cap Ferret), Le Train de La Rhune (France/Spain border region) Bordeaux is worth a visit. Biarritz and Bayonne (old seaside resort, great beach promenade, aquarium).
Holiday destination
The holiday resort Le Domaine des Pins d'Or is located on the edge of a pine forest, between the small town of Bias (2 km) and the Atlantic beach Lespecier (6 km). The complex has a beautiful pool area (about 160 m²) with a children's pool (about 21 m²), surrounding sun terrace, and loungers. Tennis, mini-golf, paintball, and a climbing park are within walking distance.
Getting there
You'll take the A63/E70 from Bordeaux towards San Sebastian. Then, you have two options to reach Bias. Both routes are approximately 25 km through the countryside. Take the Labouheyre exit (No. 16) and continue towards Mimizan. In Mimizan, drive through the town towards Bayonne and continue until you reach the small village of Bias. Alternatively, you can take exit No. 14 (Morcenx). Then, you also drive through the countryside road passing through the pine forest until you reach Bias.

Also ich weiß nicht wo ich anfangen soll , Mega Ferienhaus, Mega Schön, Mega Ort. Ich hätte nie gedacht dass ich mit meine kleine Familie so einen schönen Urlaub in Frankreich erleben kann. Ich sage mal so wenn sie gerne mit dem Auto reisen dann kann ich Ihnen dieses Ferienhaus nur empfehlen , man ist nur 3 km vom Strand entfernt Man hat Einkauf Möglichkeiten wie zum Beispiel, Lidl oder Aldi oder weiteres aber unsre Erfahrung nach empfehlen wir dort Lidl vom Preis her deutlich günstiger wie Aldi , und im kreis 50-100 km kann man vieles unternehmen und die Lage ist echt Familien freundlich und sind gerne wieder dort einfach unbeschreiblich. Ich kann dieses Ferienhaus nur weiter empfehlen, und die Besitzer sind auch super freundlich und super nett! Danke euch! LG Familie Kalo

Mit unseren Kindern (4 und 8 Jahre) haben wir im Chalet Bleu einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt genossen. Das Haus ist für 4 Personen komfortable. Die Zimmer sind mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und sogar die Matratzen sind top. Mit Airconditioning, Bad, die Küchenausstattung und Terrasse waren wir echt happy. Was uns und vor allem den Kids gefallen hat, war die gebotene Infrastruktur (pool, Tischtennis.. etc..)in der familiären und überschaubaren Anlage. Die mit Corona verbundenen Verhaltensregeln einzuhalten war kein Problem. Selbst in der Hochsaison war es nicht "voll" mit Menschen. So solide, wie das Haus ausgestattet ist, war auch die Kommunikation und die Organisation der Vermieter. Wenn es klappt, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder!
