Hiking is fun for everybody! There are a number of hiking paths for children and adults that can be easily reached on foot or by car in 10 or 30 minutes. Hiking and learning can be combined on the educational wine path that starts from the historic centre of the village and leads to Entiklar.
Holiday destination
Kurtatsch on the South Tyrolean Wine Road, situated at 333 m altitude invites you to spend a stress-free holiday. Together with the adjacent hamlets of Penon, Graun and Entiklar, it thrones on a sunny balcony overlooking the Etsch valley. The whole municipality has 2,250 inhabitants. We can boast living at the sunside in the uppermost south of South Tyrol . More than 2,000 sun hours produce fine wines on the hills and sweet apples in the valley. In the historic centre of the village, 5 minutes’ walk from our farmstead you will find traditional restaurants, pizzerias, shops, banks, the post office and a chemist. The village has not yet been overrun with tourists and therefore offers insight into rural village life.
Getting there
Exit A 22 motorway Neumarkt – Auer, follow the directions Tramin and after the signpost Kurtatsch you will reach the village after about 7 km on the South Tyrolean Wine Road. Pass the church and the main square on your left, follow straight on the lightly steep Obergasse, pass elementary school and the Pizzeria Terzer on your left and turn right at the village fountain and signpost. After about 100 m you will arrive right in front of our entrance. We are happy to pick you up at the train stations in Neumarkt and Auer.

Das Haus war toll. Die Wohnung war super schön und wir waren 4 Erwachsene die alle genug Platz hatten. Terrasse, Balkon und Pool auf einer schönen Wiese was will man mehr um eine Woche Urlaub zu machen. Die Vermieter waren sehr aufmerksam und der Service stimmte auch. Rund herum ein gelungener Urlaub und wir haben für uns beschlossen das wir hier nochmal hin wollen.

Die Ferienwohnung war spitze, wir konnten sowohl die Morgensonne als auch die Nachmittagssonne auf den zwei geräumigen Balkons genießen. Es war ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett.
