The apartment is named after a fishing cutter which once was moored in the romantic Niendorf harbour and was named NIE.10 - Gertrud II. NIE.10 is the fishing identification code of this fishing cutter and Gertrud II is the name given by the owners. Our Gertrud II is 34 sqm large and offers room for 2 people in the combined living and sleeping area. The interior decoration style of this high-quality apartment combines the contemporary loft and beach house styles in a refreshing way and will make your stay unforgettable.
In the combined living and sleeping area there is a fully equipped built-in kitchen with dining area for two people, two armchairs and a flat screen TV. The Gertrud II has a south-west facing balcony with a side view of the Niendorf harbour, where a small table, chairs and cosy loungers await you. Here you can enjoy the first coffee of the day or a refreshing evening sundowner. In the sleeping area there is a comfortable box spring bed and a large wardrobe with room safe. You can relax in the separate bathroom with integrated Bluetooth radio and a rain shower. The high-quality furnishings include furniture from Riviera Maison.
The overnight price includes beds, towels, shower mats and dish towels (the large laundry package). If you would also like fresh towels, bed linen or an in between cleaning, you can book this additionally during your stay.
Washing machine and dryer are available for shared use for a fee in the basement.

Allow yourself to be inspired by the most beautiful harbour time in the middle of the tourist centre with a direct view of the idyllic Niendorf harbour, surrounded by great restaurants, the fantastic sandy beach and the Niendorf bird park. You can enjoy long walks either on the beach or on the promenade towards Timmendorfer Strand or Travemünde as well as in the neighbouring nature reserve of the Aalbeek lowlands.
By car, follow the A1 motorway to the Ratekau/Niendorf exit. From there, continue in the direction of Timmendorfer Strand. Shortly before you reach Timmendorfer Strand, turn right onto the B76 and drive towards Niendorf. Now follow the signs for Niendorf/Hafen and after a few metres turn right into Strandstraße. After about 50 m you will see our house on the right hand side, right next to the Fischkiste restaurant.
From Timmendorfer Strand station, take the No. 40 bus towards ZOB/Hauptbahnhof Lübeck to the Niendorf Hafen stop. From there it is only a few metres on foot to the 4Hafenzeiten. Or you can take a taxi from Timmendorfer Strand station (approx. 10 min drive).

Rental conditions
§ 1
The reserved apartment can be cancelled at any time in writing and for a fee. In case of withdrawal from the rental contract (cancellation), the landlord is entitled to up to 100% of the rental amount. It is therefore recommended that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
The cancellation fees are calculated as follows:
up to 45 days before the start of the trip 20%.
44 - 30 days before the start of the trip 40%.
29 - 22 days before the start of the trip 70%.
21 - 8 days before the start of the trip 90%.
from 7 days before the start of the trip and 100% of the price of the trip if cancelled.
In case of a travel ban in Schleswig-Holstein, the renter is entitled to a free cancellation.
§ 2
When taking over the apartment, the furnishings, linen, crockery and household goods must be checked. Any defects etc. are to be reported immediately. No liability will be assumed for any possessions or objects brought by the tenant. The tenant is responsible for the rental property and all furnishings, etc. The tenant must treat it with care and undertakes to compensate for any damage caused by themself or fellow tenants. Upon departure the apartment must be left in a clean condition.
§ 3
The tenant can move into the rented property from 15.00 hrs on the day of arrival and must vacate the rented property by 10.00 hrs on the day of departure.
§ 4
The rental property may only be occupied by the number of people stipulated in the rental agreement.
§ 5
Pets are only allowed in the rental property after prior written agreement in the rental contract.
§ 6
The visitor's tax is to be transferred in advance by the tenant in accordance with the local tourist tax statutes.
§ 7
The internet can be used free of charge via WiFi.
We would like to point out that the free WiFi is not part of the rental contract and therefore no reduction of the rent can be made in case of a disturbance.
The guest do not have the right to permit third parties use of the Internet, in particular, access data and passwords must be kept secret and not passed on to third parties.
The guest is advised that the WiFi or cable connection only allows access to the Internet. Virus protection and firewall are not available. Accordingly, the guest is responsible for securing his/her own end device against malware.
The use of the connection is at the guest's sole risk and peril. No liability is accepted for damage to the guest's end device resulting from the use of the internet, unless the damage is caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
The guest is solely responsible for the data transmitted via the internet, the paid services used and the legal transactions carried out. If the guest visits internet pages with costs or enters into liabilities, the resulting costs are to be borne by the guest.
The guest is also obliged to observe applicable laws when using the internet. In particular, the guest will:
- use the internet neither to retrieve nor to distribute immoral or illegal content and
- not unlawfully reproduce, distribute or make available any goods protected by copyright
The guest shall indemnify the landlord from all damages and claims of third parties which are based on an illegal use of the internet by the guest and/or on a violation of this agreement. This also applies to the costs and expenses associated with the claim or its defence.
