Other recreational opportunities
The famous spa gardens of Bad Homburg with casino and Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad can be reached on foot in about 35 minutes (3km). The Hessenpark is 10km away. The Vogelburg Weilrod (35km / 40min. Drive) is also highly recommended.
Holiday destination
Friedrichsdorf is a small town. All important facilities and shops are in close proximity. One of the largest climbing gardens in Germany is 600 meters away. It is a 5km walk to the Roman Saalburg Kastell im Taunus. Frankfurt (25km away) with its imposing skyscrapers, diverse nightlife and almost limitless cultural offerings can be reached quickly and easily by S-Bahn, bicycle or your own car.
Getting there
Arrival by car via the A5:
Motorway A5 coming from the north, exit Friedberg with 1st exit to Friedrichsdorf, then to Friedrichdorf district Seulberg.
Motorway A5 coming from the south, Kreuz Bad Homburg, exit to A661 towards Offenbach, next exit F-Niedereschbach, then right towards Bad Homburg, then Ostring towards Friedrichsdorf district Seulberg.
Arrival by train:
from Frankfurt with the S5 or HLB-R15 to the Seulberg stop or Friedrichsdorf stop (there is a taxi stand).
from Friedberg with HLB-R16 to the end of the line in Friedrichsdorf
