Just behind the apartment building, beautiful cycling and hiking trails lead through forest and dunes to the beach.
In Groet, there is a small supermarket, butcher, bicycle rental, restaurants, and 'cozy' terraces. During the summer months, Groet offers a night market every Monday evening.
A fantastic mountain bike course is also just a few minutes' walk from the holiday apartment. Parking at the beach is possible - there is a large parking lot there.

Ausstattung und Räumlichkeiten der Ferienwohnung entsprachen den Angaben auf der Homepage: Gepflegtes Mobiliar, angenehm große, helle, saubere Zimmer. Die Beleuchtung im Badezimmer war etwas dürftig, ein Föhn und Fußmatten wären noch ein zusätzliches "Highlight" gewesen. Das bestellte Wäschepaket (leider ohne Küchenhandtuch) wurde uns direkt bei der Ankunft von Frau Schagen, die uns zum vereinbarten Termin freundlich empfing, ausgehändigt. Das Haus ist etwas hellhörig, hat uns aber nicht besonders gestört, ebenso wenig wie die Geräusche der Straße, die am Haus vorbei führt, da die Wohnung nach hinten heraus zum Hof liegt. Also, alles in allem eine angenehme Unterkunft für entspannte Tage am Meer.
