This delightful 18th-century historically listed building lies at the end of a rocky peninsula between the sea at Loch Crinan and the estuary of the River Add. Fully renovated and very tastefully furnished to the S.T.B. ‘4 Star’ standard, with lovely antiques and a crackling log fire, it provides attractive holiday accommodation in tranquil surroundings.
The sandy beach is just over the garden fence, and its own well-kept grounds command one of those fine views for which Western Scotland is renowned.
When the tide is out, it is possible to while away the hours beach combing along the miles of sand, looking out towards the isles of Jura, Scarba and Mull and splashing through shallow pools, which reflect the amber colours of the setting sun.

Many places of interest are within easy reach, including Kilmartin House Museum and the Ancient Standing Stones and Circles. Forest trails and hill walks amidst the Inverinan and Knapdale forests beckon.
Lochgilphead, with its variety of shops, restaurants, swimming-pool and facilities for golf, is 5 miles away. Here, the Castle Riding Centre runs highly enjoyable riding courses, and the Kilmory Woodland Park boasts an Iron Age fort, bird hide and lochside views.
A little further afield, Inveraray has a truly memorable setting, the brilliant white arches of Front Street reflected in the still waters of Loch Fyne.
Von Glasgow (Autobahn) auf der M8 an der Ausfahrt zum Flughafen vorbei Richtung Greenock fahren, dann nehmen Sie die Ausfahrt Erskine Bridge, Loch Lomond. Weiter geht es am Loch Lomond entlang und in Tarbet dann Richtung Loch Fyne über Inveraray bis Lochgilphead. Von Lochgilphead dann Richtung Oban (NICHT bereits in Inveraray nach Oban abbiegen): nach 7 km, bei der Beschilderung “Crinan Ferry” NICHT Crinan (das ist vorher) links abbiegen in eine Nebenstrasse . Nach 2.5 km überqueren Sie die B8025; nach etwa 1 km an der T-Kreuzung links abbiegen, nach 1 km erreichen Sie Crinan Ferry. Crinan House ist das dritte Haus auf der rechten Strassenseite.
