Ideally, you can start your hiking our cycling tours right on your doorstep. The southern route of the long-distance trail (Goldsteigweg) leads past the house.
In the winter, the hiking trails are partially groomed to allow cross-country-skiing.
Downhill skiing is possible on the nearby Gaißkopf or Großer Arber.
Bathing fun awaits you at open-air pool (wave pool) or at the indoor pool in Hengersberg and the Elypso water park in Deggendorf.

Travel directions
Via the A3/E56 from Nuremberg (Nürnberg) via Regensburg
Coming from Munich, take the A92/E53
until you reach the Autobahn junction Deggendorf,
continue on the E53/B11 towards Deggendorf,
approx. 2.5 km, you'll pass through 2 tunnels,
turn left towards Schaufling - Lalling,
turn right, continue until you reach the roundabout;
in the roundabout, take the 2nd turn-off Schaufling-Lalling;
after about 12 km you'll reach Stritzling (a chapel on the left)
Take the next street to the left, towards Kapfing,
on the hilltop, turn left towards Ginn-Datting
Turn left after 250m, it's the second last house.
Via A3/E56 coming from Passau or Regensburg,
take the exit Hengersberg, continue on the B533 towards Grafenau, shortly before Auerbach, turn left towards Schaufling-Rusel,
at the petrol station in Schaufling, turn right towards Lalling,
in Stritzling at the chapel (see directions above)

Einem wunderbare Ferienwohnung. Internet für den Teeny, Ruhe für uns. Alles sauber und gute Heizung vorhanden. Riesengroße Schlafzimmer und ein traumhafter Ausblick. Nette Vermieter, mit tollen Tips für Ausflüge und zum Essen gehen.. Besser geht es nicht im bayrischen Wald.
