Ediger-Eller is located on the Middle Moselle in one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Germany between Zell and Cochem. The Moselle village impresses with old half-timbered buildings, narrow streets and a diverse gastronomy. The landscape is characterized by Moselle and Calmont, the steepest vineyard in Europe. Here, the rocks of the Calmont have shaped the Moselle into the narrowest Moselle loop and thus shaped a landscape that is unique in the entire course of the Moselle.
Getting there
Coming from Mainz from the A61 exit Rheinböllen on the B50 via Simmern to Kirchberg, there take the exit towards Cochem / Zell on the B421. Continue in the direction of Zell, from there along the Moselle, follow the B53 to Ediger-Eller.
Coming from Cologne on the A 61 exit Mendig via Landstrasse to Mayen, there on the A 48 in the direction of Trier to the Ulmen exit, in the direction of Cochem

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr zentral. Man erreicht es durch einen Kellergang und Hinterhof. Davor parken kann man nur zum Ein- und Ausladen.
Das Haus ist über drei Etagen recht groß und schön aufgeteilt. Es handelt sich um einen sanierten Altbau mit Charme und gemütlicher Einrichtung. Insgesamt ist es je nach Wetterlage recht dunkel im Haus, insbesondere im Bad und in der Küche.
Zur Begrüßung erwartete uns eine Flasche Wein und Wasser.
Leider war bei unserer Ankunft mangelhaft gereinigt. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war dazu - wie auch schon bei der Buchung - sehr freundlich und es gab das Angebot einer Nachreinigung. Allerdings haben wir dennoch selbst gereinigt und die Sanitäranlagen desinfiziert, da wir nach langer Fahrt mit zwei kleinen Kindern nicht noch weiter warten wollten.

Eine wirklich schöne Ferienwohnung, modern und ansprechend. Die Vermieterin war immer schnell um Klärung bemüht, wenn wir Anliegen hatten. Für Gruppen, wir waren 6 Personen, sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderurlaub und Sightseeing in der wirklich sehr zu empfehlenden Moselregion geeignet. Aufgrund der engen Ortsbebauung und der Lage in zweiter Baureihe gibt es allerdings leider keine Aussicht, dies war für uns jedoch zu verschmerzen, da wir ohnehin täglich unterwegs waren.
