Ideal place for a holiday between lake and mountain, in a very quiet area. The cottage lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The way from Peglio to Bodone (6 km) is a rural asphalted road (toll road € 1,00/day/car), but it is a mountains Street, bend road and with bends and single carriageway.
The surrounding area of naturalistic interest is ideal for walking, nature and hikers lovers, mushrooms hunters, fond of mountain bike, etc.
The closer beaches are located in Gravedona, 12 km distant (20 minutes drive).
Getting there
From Gravedona take the street direction Peglio and from here the mountain way to Bodone. The way from Peglio to Bodone (6 km) is a rural asphalted road, but it is a mountains Street, bend road and with bends and single carriageway.

Wir haben in den Herbstferien eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Der Weg von Gravedona nach Bodone ist zwar etwas beschwerlich, aber der Ausblick auf den Lago di Como, die herrliche Ruhe inmitten der
Natur, wiegt das allemal auf. Und wie sagt man so schön: Wer das eine will, muss das andere mögen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Auch der Garten ( voll umzäunt, perfekt mit Hund)mit überdachter Terrasse lädt Abends zum verweilen ein.Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren jetzt das 3. Mal im Chalet Monica. Die ruhige Lage und der fantastische Blick auf den Comer See fasziniert stets aufs Neue. Das Haus ist gemütlich und in warmen Farben eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit und die Ausstattung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Ziegen, Kühe , Esel und Pferde mit Glocken, die frei herumlaufen, machen das Idyll perfekt. In Bodone konnten wir ausgedehnte Spaziergänge mit unseren Hunden in der Natur unternehmen. Am See haben wir in Gravedona, Domaso, Sorico und Dongo tolle Ausflugsziele entdeckt. Die kurvenreiche Fahrt von Gravedona nach Bodone lässt die zahlreichen Schlaglöcher vergessen durch die herrlichen Ausblicke und die schöne Natur. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt.
