CALPE DIEM (Derived from "Carpe Diem" = Enjoy the day!).
1. Immerse yourself in the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea and then extend the oceanic feeling in a spacious apartment where you can't help but be satisfied.
2. The expansive view over the bay is framed by two imposing rock formations, and on the 17th and 18th floors, the pleasant breeze makes the sun never feel too hot.
3. The bay of Calpe is characterized by clear clean water, a wide and gently sloping sandy beach - ideal for children and pleasure swimmers. Just 50 m from the house. No road in between.
4. The paths along the shore are more than just a beach promenade; they are like a creative journey of discovery to the mighty rock "Ifach" on one side and the cheerful, colorful beach and city life on the other.
5. The apartment itself, with its 2nd floor as a penthouse, spoils not only with breathtaking views but also with a modern tasteful decor that leaves virtually nothing to be desired.
6. In addition to a fridge and freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, induction hob, etc., there is also a wonderfully large barbecue area right on the roof, which wants to be used for summer parties. (Accessible only via the 18th floor).
The living room with a fully glazed south wall can be connected to the terrace through large sliding doors.
The room on the 18th floor is only accessible from the living space of the 17th floor. It can be used both as a bedroom and an office. (Desk with office chairs, free Wi-Fi reception). It is glazed on three sides and surrounded by a large terrace on these three sides.
Here you have an undisturbed 270° panoramic view of the beach, the sea, the city, and the mountains. Here you will find a sunny or shady spot at any time of day according to your wishes.
Shopping, Dining: Many restaurants and shops on the beach, the nearest supermarket is only about 200 m away. There are also Aldi (German bread, etc.) and Lidl, visible from the apartment.
On request (for a surcharge), a lockable single garage in the basement (right at the front of the garage entrance) is available.
Satellite TV: All German channels. As well as over 900 other channels in many languages. TV set 3D-capable, CD/DVD player available. 3D movies on Blue-Ray available.
From a height of 65 meters, you have a wonderful overview of the sea, the city, and the surrounding mountains. Since only the promenade and no road separates the house "Amatista" from the beach, the location is also ideal for families with children.

Every kind of water sport. Climbing the vertical walls of the Ifach.
Nearby is Benidorm, the "Las Vegas" of Spain. Here you'll find everything imaginable at any time of day, night, or year. Endlessly long, wide sandy beaches. Wind-sheltered spots where you can sunbathe in swimwear even in December.
1. From Alicante Airport: Take the ALSA bus line to Calpe Bus Station. Approximately €10 per person. From Calpe Bus Station, about 1.8 km by taxi.
2. Or directly from Alicante Airport by taxi. €90 to €120 in total, depending on the time of day.
3. With the very comfortable regular bus from various places in Switzerland, e.g., Zurich Airport. Twice a week in the afternoon. Travel time is about 20 hours, price for a round trip is about €240 per person. Premium seats can be booked for an additional charge. From the bus stop (Hotel Esmeralda), it's about 1.4 km by taxi.
4. With your own car. From the French border, it's another 620 km. No more tolls on highways in Spain since 2022.

We rent out the holiday apartment privately, ourselves. We live in Germany. Our property manager in Spain is the caretaker of the "Amatista" building. He welcomes our guests and takes care of the laundry and cleaning. He speaks Spanish and English.
