Holiday destination
“Surrounded by the lush green of the trees planted on slopes” is how the Italian poets described it. The Castle of Carovigno bears the name of the city in which the ancient Carbina was built, and like all fortified monuments it’s the highest part of the area while underground it’s possible to visit the “dungeons” used as cells and cellars. Worth visiting is the historic centre with its four proud towers, three of which are still standing. Not far away there are the churches of the town: the mother church dedicated to the Assunta and the “Chiesa del Carmine', with frescoes from the XVIII century. The city of Carovigno hosts every year the “Press Tour Carovigno ' which organizes guided tours, olive harvesting and tastings.

Wir waren zu viert mit zwei dreijährigen Kindern da und das hat super gepasst! Der große Pool war toll! Der Wohnbereich war etwas kleiner, als auf den Fotos, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Wir haben nur bis zum Schluss nicht herausgefunden, wo man die passenden Kaffeekapseln für die Kaffeemaschine herkriegt. Sonst waren wir mit allem sehr zufrieden!

Mooie afgelegen moderne villa tussen de olijfbomen met zwembad en ruime tuin. Je bent echt even ‘alleen’ en hebt een heerlijk gevoel van ruimte. Strand en stadje + goede supermarkten zijn 10 minuutjes rijden.
