Holiday destination
The "de Horn" holiday park is located between Alkmaar and Den Helder. You'll find a supermarket and a bike rental shop right by the entrance to the park. The beaches of St Maartenzee, Callantsoog and Petten are within easy reach - they're ideal destinations for a bike ride. If you're looking for a day trip, we'd recommend an excursion out to the Wadden Sea island of Texel. It's absolutely worth taking a trip out to the towns of Alkmaar (cheese museum and cheese market), Zaandam (the Zaanse Schans windmill village), Den Helder (Navy museum, Fort Kijkduin, the KlimVallei climbing park, etc.), Schagen and to the Beverwijk Bazaar.

Wir waren vier Tage dort, es war ein herrliches Wochenende zum Seele baumeln lassen. Das Häuschen ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, uns fehlte es an nichts. Es war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Sauna ist zwar klein aber sehr fein. Insgesamt ein Netter kleiner Ferienhauspark mit Supermarkt, der sogar Sonntags geöffnet hatte. Sehr schöne Umgebung, uns allen gefielen Alkmar und Schagen zum shoppen und die Strände von Egmond und Callantsoog waren fantastisch zum spazieren gehen und Drachen steigen lassen. Unserem 12 jährigen Sohn gefiel das Marinemuseum in Den Helder sehr gut, da man viel sehen, erleben und ausprobieren konnte. Alles in allem ein Wochenende von dem man lange zehren kann !
