Late Payment, Withdrawal, Cancellation, and Interruption of Stay
If the tenant is in arrears with their payment, withdraws from the contract, or cancels (terminates) the contract before the rental period begins without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract under the same terms, the following proportional rents (minus utilities & tourist tax) are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, in addition to a fee of 50 EUR, provided that re-letting is not possible:
-up to 49 days before the rental period begins: 10% of the rental price
-up to 35 days before the rental period begins: 40% of the rental price
-up to 21 days before the rental period begins: 60% of the rental price
-up to 14 days before the rental period begins: 90% of the rental price
-otherwise (later than 14 days before the rental period begins) 100% of the rental price.
If the tenant interrupts the stay prematurely, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price. A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The date of receipt of the statement is decisive.
