Holiday destination
Explore the Chiemgau, Berchtesgadener Land and Salzburg. Hiking, cycling, golf, water sports, horse riding, cross-country skiing, skiing, culture and much more. In Chiemgau there are great opportunities for an active holiday all year round and in all weathers.
The house is quietly located in the small village of Wolkersdorf im Chiemgau, away from the hustle and bustle. Shopping facilities (EDEKA, bakery, village shop) are just over 1 km away. The Chiemsee beach in Chieming is a good 7.5 km away.
The main town of the Chiemgau, Traunstein, with its many shopping opportunities and sights is about 3.5 km away. From here you can easily reach Salzburg (26 min), Rosenheim (40 min), Munich (1 hour 20 min) by train.
Salzburg airport can be reached by car in about 25 minuts.
Getting there
You can reach the house by car via the A8, take the Übersee exit and follow the B2096 towards Grabenstätt. Do not enter the town of Grabenstätt, but take the first turn-off on the right after the town (B3). You will pass the Grabenstätt airfield. In Erlstätt you will come to the B 2095 which you turn right onto. After approx. 2 km turn left towards Wolkersdorf. You are now on a small country road which becomes a village road. Cross the next intersection and turn into the first street on the left (Erlstätterstraße), then take the first street on the right, Obere Bichlstraße. At the end of the street you drive directly towards our double garage.
You can travel by train to Traunstein, Traunstein is on the Munich-Salzburg railway line. From Traunstein station it is about 3 km. You will find taxis at the station. The Avis car rental is about 600 m from the station (8 minutes' walk).
Salzburg Airport is about 30 minutes away. From there, take the A 8 towards Munich and then follow the directions under Directions.
Munich Airport is about 1 ¼ hours away, from there take the A8 towards Salzburg and then follow the directions as described under Directions. There is a charming, similarly fast route overland, you can find this via navigation devices.

Es war eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem traumhaft schönen Ferienhaus. Ausstattung, Einrichtung und Architektur sind der Wahnsinn. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Wolke 9A und sowohl Sauna als auch Sportgeräte intensiv genutzt dank Regenwetter. Wir kommen gerne wieder, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation und Erreichbarkeit der Vermieter war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!
