Our holiday home is situated on a 4200m² large, natural plot of land with a blooming garden. It is quiet but not isolated. Security clearance with AL 10.892 certification. Sustainable power supply with solar for warm water and heating; cork was used to isolate the walls against the heat and cold. Mostly handicapped accessible.
The house (built in 2000) is 18 km from Faro (in the direction of Spain). The ocean is approx. 3 km away.
This home is suitable for wheelchair users and can accommodate up to 6 guests.
The partially covered terraces are hidden from view and offer a stunning view over the countryside to the ocean. The long, empty beaches are perfect for extensive walks.
Shopping facilities can be found in Ohlao (Pingo Doce, Lidl, Aldi).

Central underfloor-heating supported by solar energy (included in the booking price).
Ideal for tourists who want to spend the winter here / for long-term holidaymakers (prices upon request).

The area boasts several golf courses.
This is an idyllic, rural area with lots of nature: almond, carob and olive trees.
The property borders on the well-known Rio Formosa Natural Park.
Olhao and the near vicinity have restaurants where you can still eat at a reasonable price.
Driving only a few kilometres inland, you'll discover completely quiet areas of the Serra that are perfect for hiking (north of Santa Catarina).
The ride from Faro Airport takes approx. 30 minutes.

Cancellation fees: up to 45 days prior to arrival: 15% of the rental price; 44-35 days: 50%, 34-1 days: 80%, at the begin of the rental period or in case of a no-show: 90% of the rental price.
No utility costs for electricity, water and heating. Use of the washing machine for a 2.50 € fee per wash.
