Holiday destination
The town of Bad Berleburg attracts with its small center, the castle and the castle park and many hiking trails (forest sculpture trail, Wittgensteiner slate path, slate visitor's mine in Raumland and the known and popular Rothaarsteig).
There are also many different restaurants that can also be reached quickly on foot.
On the 1st sunday in July the traditional Bad Berleburger Schützenfest takes place.

Schon der erste Kontakt mit Frau Hackenbracht war fröhlich positiv und alles war unkompliziert. Wir haben uns mit Familie dort getroffen um den Vater in der Reha zu besuchen und ein bißchen auszuspannen und nötige Dinge zu erledigen. Auch wenn das Wetter nur lala war und Petrus oft weinte, die schöne Ferienwohnung machte vieles wett. Sie ist großzügig mit viel Platz und Schrankraum, sehr gut ausgestattet, gemütlich, sehr sauber und sie hat ganz besonders nette, freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter! Nochmals herzlichen Dank liebe Frau und Herr Hackenbracht! Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl bei Ihnen gefühlt. Der Blick auf die Oberstadt - schön! Die Lage - prima. Eine Wohnung zum Weiterempfehlen!
