The Wisent Wildnis can be reached within 15 minutes by car.
Two amusementparks (Panorama Park and Fort Fun) can be reached within less than an hour of driving. The known Karl-May Festspiele in Elspe are also easy to reach.
The town of Bad Berleburg attracts with its small center, the castle and the castle park and many hiking trails (forest sculpture trail, Wittgensteiner slate path, slate visitor's mine in Raumland and the known and popular Rothaarsteig).
There are also many different restaurants that can also be reached quickly on foot.
On the 1st sunday in July the traditional Bad Berleburger Schützenfest takes place.
