Nestled in the sleepy village of Jaegerthal yet standing alone, this charming Alsatian house is located right next to the ruins of the former forge "de Dietrich". From here, more than 350 years ago, the steel industry began. The half-timbered house, framed by the Schwarzbach river and the canal, is part of this industrial monument. With the complete renovation (2022/23), the house has been transformed into a little gem. More impressive photos of this gem can be found on our Domaine-Jaegerthal.com.
Please note that the garden with direct access to the canal, the Schwarzbach and the weirs is not suitable for children under 14 years of age. For guests with children under 14 years, our Maison Forestière is recommended.

In Jaegerthal, it seems as if time has stood still. The romantic little village with its old chapel, a private castle belonging to an ancient noble family, and the cozy little restaurant "Jaegerthal" gives the impression that nothing has changed over the past decades.
Its proximity to the two ruins of the old castles in Windstein, at least one of which begs to be climbed, places this country house in a unique location. A paradise - even for our furry friends!
