The Berghof in the village of Tastrup on the outskirts of Flensburg has been writing its history since 1776. The former stables were gradually expanded and the rear area of the former milking house has now been lovingly renovated and turned into a very special holiday home.
Your holiday begins as soon as you enter the Berghof!
The main part of the house for letting (unit 1) consists of a very unique, comfortably furnished living/dining area with exposed beams and a wonderful, well-equipped kitchen.
The living area with comfortable seating area by the fireplace and swivelling TV is the perfect place to linger. The wellness bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a whirlpool tub and a shower. A high-quality Stokke changing table with radiant heater is also available.
On the 1st floor there is a separate cosy and attractive living space with a 1.80 m box spring bed and large sofa bed. An ideal set-up for parents and children to sleep in one space.
There is also a small desk and a small but fully equipped kitchen and a large balcony with a view of the garden and the swimming pond. This floor also has a bright and modern bathroom with bathtub and walk-in shower.
Directly under the pitched roof on the 2nd floor there is another bedroom with a 1.40 m wide bed, which also has its own bathroom with shower.
All rooms are equipped with spacious built-in cupboards.
A spacious ground floor entertainment and lounge area with piano, bar, cinema seats, beamer, screen, yoga and sports equipment extends over 60 square metres - this area can be booked on request.
We also have a large selection of books and toys for young and old. A balance bike and small bicycle as well as a go-kart are also available. Ask us!
On the ground floor you will also find the laundry room with dryer, use of which is included in the room rate.
Also on the ground floor is another bedroom with a 1.80 m box spring bed and a private ensuite toilet.
The large terrace with a view of the private garden area is partly covered. At the swimming pond, which is several metres deep, there is a small sandy beach that makes a nice place to begin your swim. The little ones will love to play and dig here. In the summer months, a poly rattan lounge is set up so that the grown-ups can also sit comfortably on the beach. A high-quality beach chair and loungers and high-quality garden furniture as well as a fire bowl and grill round off your stay.
Please kindly keep in mind that fishing (especially our grass carp) is prohibited. The fish and frogs keep the pond clean!
The newly renovated sauna with shower and lounge area is located in the middle of the green garden and is a pleasure in both summer and winter; it can be booked upon request.
Extravagant furnishings, piano room, cinema, lounge, fireplace, swimming pond (used only by both units of the holiday home) and sauna! The quiet location paired with plenty to experience on site and the proximity to the city and beaches make holidays at the Berghof particularly attractive.

The Pony-Power riding stables are directly opposite the Berghof. Guests travelling on horse are welcome!
The Berghof is located on a riding and cycling route on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Tastrup, right on the outskirts of the beautiful fjord town of Flensburg (4 km to the city centre). Directly opposite is a pony farm where riding lessons or horseback rides can be booked. Your own horse can also be kept if there's room (we speak from our own experience).
Tastrup itself has a beautiful children's playground with football pitch. The "tour around the village" starts directly at the Berghof and makes for a wonderful walk with or without a dog.
The surrounding region with its hills, farm forests and small villages looks like a natural landscape park and is perfect for exploring by bike. The nearest bathing beaches in Solitüde and at the Baltic Sea resort of Flensburg are each 7.5 km away. The Hochfelder Landstrasse shopping centre with supermarkets and chemists is only 1.2 km away.
Motorway exit A7 Flensburg - B200 towards Flensburg exit for Kappeln/Glücksburg - B199 exit for Sörup/Satrup - take 2nd exit at 1st roundabout - immediately after the KV turn left for Tastrup ("Hummelroi") - before the Tastruper Krog turn right onto "Zur Ziegelei"

Our parents' house, the Berghof in Tastrup on the outskirts of the beautiful Baltic Sea town of Flensburg, was transformed by our father from former stables that have been ripe for demolition since 1979 into an absolute paradise. Since we don't live on site (anymore), we decided to offer this gem to nice and appreciative guests and give them the chance to relax.
