Holiday destination

The house is 460m above sea level in the Eder valley, in a small residential area outside of Birkelbach. The Ederhöhenweg runs right past the house, and a branch of the Rothaarsteig also begins here. There is a bus stop and a stop for the Rothaarbahn near the house. The area is a hiker's paradise with connections to the Waldsculpture Trail, Via Adrina, Wittgensteiner Schieferpfad and the Ederhöhenweg. The distance to Wisentwildnis 8 km, to the Panorama Park 12 km, Rhein-Weser-Turm 15 km and Winterberg about 36 km. There are shops and restaurants in Erndtebrück, 4 km away. On the 3,000 m2 property there is a garden house (electricity connection) with a barbecue area and a fireplace by a stream. A climbing tower with a slide is available for children. We look forward to many children. A wellness area was set up in the basement with a large sauna (30 square meters with a 15 kwh oven) for 10-15 people and showers, relaxation room and fitness room. For the youngsters there is also a large, bright lounge with a table tennis table and exit to the garden in the basement.
