The living room with an open kitchen is equipped with a spacious dining area for 6 people and a cozy sitting area. Through the French doors, you access the terrace in the beautiful forest garden. The forest garden with a south-facing terrace is wonderfully sunny and also has shady spots among the old trees. On the ground floor, there is a bathroom with a double vanity and shower + separate toilet. On the upper floor, there are 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. The apartment is atmospheric and equipped with luxury and comfort.

Nearby are the Ijsselmeer and the beautiful Frisian inland lakes (excellent water sports opportunities). The village of Oudemirdum offers many facilities (supermarket, bakery, butcher, restaurants, bicycle rental, and a bank). Just outside the village, on the Ijsselmeer coast, there is a lovely beach pavilion. Gaasterland is slightly hilly with forests and grand distant views. In the vicinity, some of the picturesque Frisian 11 cities can be found. Gaasterland has many walking, cycling, and horse riding trails. There is a large playground in Rijs and a golf course (9 holes) and tennis court in Oudemirdum.
