Holiday destination

Near the apartment, you can rent beautiful sailboats or a sloop to explore the Frisian lakes. Warns has a great local spot and also a nice restaurant at the harbor by the water. In the characteristic Frisian village of Molkwerum, there's a fantastic baker's museum. In Stavoren (4 km away from the apartment by bike), you'll find, among other things, "het vrouwtje van Stavoren," the symbol of the medieval legend about the mysterious decline of Stavoren after a rich history. Stavoren boasts a magnificent sandy beach on the Ijsselmeer coast. The area around Warns is very suitable for water sports enthusiasts, walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers. From Warns, you can take cozy trips to one of the 11 cities, such as Workum, Hindeloopen, or Sneek. On a beautiful day, it is definitely worth sailing to Enkhuizen (Zuiderzee Museum, Fairy Tale Forest), cycling through the forests of Gaasterland, or simply lazing on the beach. If it rains, you could go to the Jopie Huisman Museum in Workum or the Frisian Skating Museum in Hindeloopen. Smoking is not allowed, and pets are also not allowed in the apartment. It is suitable for 4-5 people, and you can enjoy your holiday here (even in winter).
