The wine village Wiesenbronn, located in the heart of the Franconian wine country, is surrounded by a beautiful scenery that is often called the "Franconian Tuscany" - due to the sunny, warm and dry climate.
Directly behind the house are the vineyards and the Nature Park "Steigerwald" - enjoy the unspoilt nature for scenic walks and hikes.
The cycle network in the "Kitzinger Land" is very well developed with appropriate routes for each condition (from 2012 there will be an E-Bike rental in Wiesenbronn).
Romantic historical places like Iphofen, Prichsenstadt, Mainbernheim, as well as monasteries, palaces and parks in the vicinity are worth a visit
In winter there are several trails and a ski slope nearby, sledding behind the house and hikes in the snow.
Getting there
On the A3 from Nuremberg or Frankfurt am Main:
Exit at Wiesentheid, direction Rüdenhausen, take the 2nd turn to the right in direction to Wiesenbronn, then take the 1st street (Schillergasse) at the left, with a slight swerve to the right up the hill = "Am Geisberg", then on the left hand side the 4th house = vacation apartment Schilling
On the A7 from Kassel or Ulm:
Exit Kitzingen, direction to Kitzingen on the B8, pass through Kitzingen stil on the B to the roundabout at the end of the village Kitzingen, 2nd exit in direction to Rödelsee to the next roundabout at Rödelsee, 2nd exit to Wiesenbronn, in Wiesenbronn shortly before end of town turn right in the Schillergasse, with a slight swerve to the right up the hill = Am Geisberg, then on the left hand side the 4th house = you arrived at vacation apartment Schilling

Wir,ein Seniorenehepaar mit kleinem Hund, verbrachten 10 erholsame Urlaubstage in der wunderschönen Gegend von Wiesenbronn,die wir seit früheren Aufenthalten kennen und lieben.Die ebenerdige, sehr saubere Ferienwohnung mit eigenem Eingang war jedesmal ein Ort der Entspannung nach unseren Ausflügen, besonders mit der von duftenden Kräutern umgebenen Terrasse,die uns an unsere Aufenthalte in der Provence erinnerte. Frau Posorski zeigte sich sehr fürsorglich,so daß wir uns gut aufgehoben fühlten. Und die gleich hinter dem Ferienhaus liegenden Weinberge waren für uns als Hundebesitzer ein ideales Spaziergebiet.

Wir durften unsere drei Hunde mit bringen, alleine das verdient schon fünf Sterne. in der Wohnung haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und die Umgebung war einfach ideal für die vielen Spaziergänge, die wir unternommen haben. Besonders gut gefiel uns die schöne Terrasse. Noch einmal fünf Sterne für die Gastfreundlichkeit, die durch eine tolle Kräuterführung durch die unglaublich fachkompetente Vermieterin noch getoppt wurde. Wir können dieses Urlaubsziel absolut weiter empfehlen.
