Holiday destination
The accommodation is far enough away from any neighbours but close enough to such towns as the half-timbered medieval city of Korbach and the attractive town of Bad Arolsen that local princes once called home. You can reach a number of tourist attractions in not much more than half an hour. These include the Edersee reservoir; the Kellerwald low mountain range; the Twistesee reservoir with its lido; the many palaces, castles and museums in the local area; such lively hubs as the towns of Willingen and Winterberg im Sauerland; and also Kassel, an international city of culture.

Host informationCome and stay in our Forsthaus ('Forester's Lodge') on the Gut Malberg estate, where the fresh air, expansive views and absolute peace and quiet invite you to relax and unwind. We would love to welcome you here. We are Hendrik and Eva and our children are Johann-Friedrich, Hauke, Bosse and Henriette. Our wish is for you to feel totally at ease in our holiday home that's surrounded by forest, meadows and fields. It's beautiful during all the seasons of the year here. Enjoy the stunning view of our organic farm from your holiday home. We would be more than happy to invite you to take a walk in our forest that's filled with game. Or would you prefer to visit our animals? Scottish Highland cattle, Shropshire sheep and rabbits all live on our farm. Everything you'll need day-to-day is provided here. Please don't hesitate to talk to us, however, if something is missing or you have any questions. We look forward to welcoming you here and are happy to help.

Ein wunderbares Haus für Familien. Wir haben über Weihnachten hier gefeiert und es war wirklich alles perfekt. Das Haus ist groß und bietet genügend Platz für unsere ganze Familie, die Ausstattung ist einfach top. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die moderne, voll ausgestattete Küche, hier fehlt es an nichts! Vom Kochen bis zum gemütlichen Beisammensitzen war alles möglich. Auch die Bäder sind sehr schön und bieten alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und kümmern sich um jedes Detail, sodass man sich sofort willkommen und wie zu Hause fühlt. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und können dieses Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir waren Anfang August vier Tage mit der Familie und zwei Hunden in dem Forsthaus Gut Malberg im wunderschönen Waldecker Land. Das Forsthaus ist ein sehr schönes, ruhiges und wundervolles Ferienhaus. Das Objekt ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die große Terrasse lädt zum Relaxen ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die freundlichen Gastgeber wohnen nebenan und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Wer Ruhe, Entspannung und Natur sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die Gegend bietet aber noch vieles mehr, es gibt genügend zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
