Menerbes in the heart of the Luberon is surrounded by pitoresque villages such as Gordes, La Coste, Lourmarin,Bonnieux that are all on the list of most beautiful villages of France. The region is reknown for it's local food markets and the high end local gastronomy. Lavender fields, olives plantations, wine yards and fruittrees are the natural provencal decor of the Domaine de Valmenon.
