Duing summer, the main focus is the beach, the pool and the ample sunshine. However, the cooler seasons have many grat adventures to offer by exploring the backcountry of the coast walking, biking or by car. Sporty people will climb the Montgo or the Peñon de Ifach near Calpe, both quite demanding and exposed mountain hikes. The almond and cherry blossoms in spring are an experience in themselves!
Holiday destination
Javea is a small port town on the Costa Blanca and has been able to preserve more of its original charm than, for example, Calpe, Denia or Benidorm. Thus, high-rise buildings, large hotel complexes and booze tourists are missing . There are many famous bays like Granadella or Portichol, but also the sandy beach Arenal with a promenade and numerous restaurants, boutiques and rental of jet skis and boats.
With over 200 restaurants, everyone is catered for.
The surrounding area also offers numerous possibilities for excursions
Getting there
By air: To Alicante or Valencia, then rental car about 100 kilometers to Jàvea / Xàbia.
By road: Motorway via Perpignan, (AP7), Girona, Barcelona, Tarragona, Valencia, (AP7) exit Javea, then another 35 kilometers via N332 and CV-734 to Javea. From the entrance of Javea follow the signs Cabo de la Nao / Cap de la Nau.
